About Brigette

Brigette started her career teaching middle schoolers how the world works. Now, she helps education organizations figure out how to work better together.

Her path has never been a straight line. She fell in love with teaching in a science classroom, where she learned that students grow fastest when someone truly believes in them. That belief followed her into the principalship, where she learned that building a school is about building a team fully committed to student and community success. 

In 2022, Brigette stepped out of the principalship into the business world. She discovered that the relationships and instincts she'd built in schools were exactly what education organizations were missing.

Standing at the intersection of K–12 and EdTech, she saw what each side needed from the other. Companies needed to understand the people and institutions they wanted to serve. Educators needed someone to show them that their experience was valuable far beyond the classroom walls.

That's why she founded Strengthening Connections Group. SCG builds opportunity by bringing people together, helping individuals and organizations grow through the right relationships, strategies, and support. Brigette works with education companies to build stronger K–12 partnerships and sales teams, and with school leaders to develop their people, honoring and respecting the expertise that all people bring into the workspace.

Her approach is simple: she understands education, she understands business, and she understands relationships. Her work is connecting all three in ways that create results.
